Behind the scenes is a real software product: a continuously verified events database, a public-facing web app, a weekly digest, host tools, AI-assisted event maintenance, and the ongoing work of keeping listings accurate as venues, times, and lineups change every week.
There's no membership fee, no cut from performers, no paywall on the listings, and no ads. Tips help keep this running.
A note on status: Open Mic Colorado, Inc. is in formation as a Colorado nonprofit corporation; a 501(c)(3) application is planned, not yet granted. Until that determination is made, tips are received by the project maintainer to cover operating costs and are not tax-deductible. Payment options below go to personal accounts held by the project founder.
