Monster Open Mic at the Van Helsing Society Step into the Archives and take the stage. Our Monster Open Mic welcomes storytellers, poets, musicians, comedians, scholars, and curious creatures of all kinds. Performances should ideally be inspired by myth, folklore, fantasy, or the supernatural — whether eerie, whimsical, academic, dramatic, or delightfully strange. Both human and nonhuman entities are invited to perform. We simply ask that your material honor the theme. Performers may reserve a 10-15 minute slot in advance (limited availability). Additional standby spots may be released to those who arrive at doors. All performers must check in by 6:45pm to confirm their place in the lineup. Final performance order is arranged night-of. Audience admission is free, and refreshments are available from the Society’s bar throughout the evening. Doors at 6:30pm Performances from 7:00-9:00pm Come to perform. Come to observe. Come to discover what emerges from the shadows. Questions? Email RenfieldVanHelsing@audaciousimmersive.com or call/text 720-445-5242
