About This Event

Mercury Legacy Jazz Jam & Poetry Open Mic happens every Friday at The Karma House in Lakewood, with weekly Fridays officially beginning May 22, 2026, continuing the Mercury Cafe legacy of live jazz, spoken word, community, and creativity. From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, jazz musicians gather for an open jam session full of improvisation, collaboration, soul, and sound. From 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the mic opens for poets, from longtime Denver poetry veterans to first-time performers. This weekly event invites people to listen, play, perform, witness, and help keep the legacy alive. Cost was not stated.
